Donald E. (Don) Kelley, 80
WINCHESTER - Donald E. "Don" Kelley, 80, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester.
He was born on March 31, 1931 in Wayne County to Earl and Marie T. (Elstro) Kelley. He was a 1949 graduate of Losantville High School. Don was a long-time Parts Manager for the following car dealerships; Bill Geyer Chevrolet in Winchester, Johnny Morris Chevrolet in Winchester and Sam Pierce Chevrolet in Muncie. He enjoyed working on cars and watching the NASCAR races. He was a family oriented man and loved spending time watching his children and grandchildren's sporting events.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Rosadeane (White) Kelley of Winchester; eight children, David (wife, Debbie) Anderson of Parker City, Kathy (husband, Leon) Leach of Farmland, Greg (wife, Nancy) Anderson of St. Louis, MO, Brian Kelley of Lynn, Karen (husband, Brett) Ward of Winchester, Penny Kelley of Winchester and Traci Kelley of Winchester; ten grandchildren, Todd (wife, Sheila) Leach, Justin Anderson, Michael (wife, Sherri) Anderson, Robin Anderson (fiance, Joel Jacquette), Cierra Ward (Robert Hesser), Brock Ward, Ericka Kelley, MacKenzie Kelley, Reagan Kelley, and Trae Kelley, two great-granddaughters, Abby and Breanna Leach; four brothers, Carl (wife, Clara) Kelley, Myron (wife, Shirley) Kelley, Dale Kelley, and Jerry Kelley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Jason Antrim.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Tom Sells officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the services.

The day started with light rain at Plymouth Speedway as storms moved through Indiana delaying practice for the CRA 125. Following the rain came the sun and hot weather as the racing heated up. Drivers showed short fuses as many banged and beat each other during the early part of the race leaving Eddie Hoffman in the lead when drivers in front of him were put to the rear on two occasions. The race started with Tyler Roahrig and Terry Fisher, Jr. on the front row. Roahrig took the early lead on his home track, with Boris Jurkovic close behind. Jurkovic took the lead with Roahrig hanging close and getting the lead back after one caution but he could not hold as Jurkovic had the car to beat early.
